Compromised on India’s security

1. Our borders have been completely unsafe in three years of BJP government. Repeated terrorist attacks, border ceasefire violations, massive infiltration of terrorists from across the border, infusion into Indian Territory by Chinese and Pak armies and the ugly terror of naxalism depict the abject failure of BJP government on internal and external security fronts.

2. This can be gauged from the fact that in J&K alone, 207 soldiers have been martyred, 101 civilians died with a record of 1343 border ceasefire violations by Pakistan. Repeated terror incidents like those in Uri, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Nagrota, Pampore, Pulwama reflect lack of will, erosion of credibility and absence of capacity to fight terrorist and protect internal and external security on part of BJP government.

3. Absence of a policy on Pakistan, incapacity to define its relationship with China, ever deteriorating relationship with Nepal and Sri Lanka, alienating a time tested ally like Russia and unwarranted bravado of Ministers causing consternation in relationship with a tested friend like Bangla Des have marked a series of flip flops on Foreign policy. Despite unending foreign visits of Prime Minister, no tangible games have been made by India except for promoting the personal image of Shri Narendra Modi. Question is what have India and people gained?
